he Holy Qur’an is an invaluable gift from Allah, a source of mercy and guidance for humanity. Memorizing the Qur’an is a great honor and a special blessing from Allah. A Hafiz of the Qur’an is respected in this world and granted an elevated status in the Hereafter.

1. Qur’anic Verse:
   إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنْفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَجَهْرًا يَرْجُونَ تِجَارَةً لَّن تَبُورَ
   “Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah, establish prayer, and spend (in His cause) out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, can hope for a trade that will never fail.”
   (Surah Fatir: 29)

2. Hadith:
   The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
   “إِنَّ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهُوَ مَاهِرٌ فِيهِ مَعَ السَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَامِ الْبَرَرَ وَالَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَيَتَعَتَّعُ فِيهِ وَيَشْقَى لَهُ أَجْرَانِ”
   “The one who recites the Qur’an skillfully will be with the noble and righteous angels, and the one who recites it with difficulty and struggles will receive double the reward.”
   (Sahih Muslim: 798)
